This beautiful large piece was done by World Class scrimshaw artist David Adams. David Adams is a well known artist of scrimshaw with artworks displayed in private and public collections world wide. He is a painter of nature and fantasy; author, sculptor, jewelry designer and crystal carver. This scrimshaw was made on an Ancient Alaskan artifact, it was used several hundred years ago. The ivory is mounted to another nice Ancient Alaskan artifact. This piece features a lynx with wandering around snowy woods. This was done on fossil walrus ivory artifacts and mounted on a walrus fossil ivory base. Measures 8.5 inches long and stands 3 inches tall including base.
