Tatiana Markelova, from the village of Fedoskino is the talented artist responsible for this unusual composition. The box has an original shape and the painting is going all over the box. Here we can see red tulips painted on Mother of pearl and daisies with field flowers painted inside the box.
The box is constructed from paper-mache and a large shell. The background lacquer is black and red lacquer covers the interior of the box. The box has a hinge from the top of the scene, and rests on a flat platform. The work is signed by the artist.
