Yupik tray attributed to Elaine Moses, Newtok, circa 1950's. This tray is woven from wild rye beach grass (taperrnat). It is decorated with a complex geometric design of blank and pink dyed seal grass and a ticked rim. It is expertly woven, tightly coiled, symmetrical and well balanced. Approximately 16" x 10.5". It is in excellent condition.
