This wonderful composition is a charming creation of Olga Smirnova. Exceptional technique and masterful skill are needed to create this work. Miniature painted on the Mother-of-pearl background. The box is framed with a thin gold line. The box is constructed from paper-mache. Black lacquer is used to paint the exterior of the box while red lacquer completes the interior of the work.The lid is hinged from the left of the box.
The work is signed with the artist's name and the village of Fedoskino.
