Product Overview
This is an antique Russian silver egg and stand. The egg is decorated with multi-colored shaded cloisonne enamel. The stand takes the form of three chicken feet. Approximately 3" tall and 2" in diameter. The total height, including the stand is approximately 3.3". Made in Moscow circa 1908-1917. The egg opens at the center and is marked with the silver quality mark "84" on the interior of both halves along with a right facing kokoshnik and the delta symbol for the city of Moscow. The initials "AAT" in Latin letters also appear on each half of the egg. These are the maker's marks for an unknown Russian silversmith. The stand has the silver quality mark "84". This piece is in excellent condition overall with no noted loss of enamel.
