This is a wonderful example of Alaska native carving. Walrus ivory Shaman Polar Bears carved by Stanley Tocktoo, Inupiat from Shishmaref, AK. Stanley has carved the scene with incredible detail from a very creamy piece of walrus ivory. These two polar bears are carved from a single piece of ivory. The way Stan has shaped these bears is a testament to his ability as a carver. Approx. 4.5" x 1.5" x 2.5".
