This is a beautiful piece was done by World Class scrimshaw artist Mike Cohen. Mike Cohen is a well known artist of scrimshaw with artworks displayed in private and public collections world wide. Veteran scrimshander, Cohen, is known for his ship as can be seen in this gem. This piece features a sailing ship. This was done on fossil mammoth ivory and mounted on a walrus fossil ivory artifact base.
