It features a board handcrafted and constructed from buffalo horn and bone; a custom wooden frame and box, and each piece painstakingly hand carved from fossil woolly mammoth ivory! The finest chess sets for royalty in the 17th and 18th centuries were carved from ivory; now utilizing rare fossilized mammoth tusk sourced in the north of Siberia and Alaska, we can duplicate the materials and craftsmanship to create this Museum quality set for the discriminating family that wants an heirloom Chess Set!
