A beautiful piece of fossilized walrus ivory with colored scrimshaw. A part of walrus tusk with scrimshaw scenes by the regarded Alaskan artist Richard Freeman depicting mallards. Affixed to a wood base, walrus tusk measures 7.25" long, 4" wide. Signed by the artist.
Outstanding work would be a welcome addition to any scrimshaw collection.
