This is a beautiful piece was done by World Class scrimshaw artist Mike Cohen. Mike Cohen is a well known artist of scrimshaw with artworks displayed in private and public collections world wide. Veteran scrimshander, Cohen, is known for his ship portraits as can be seen in this gem. This piece features a large sailing ship. This was done on fossil walrus ivory artifact and mounted on a walrus fossil ivory base.
Approx. 5.25" x 1" x 1.75"including base.
