Product Overview
This is an antique miniature Russian silver gilt kovsh with multicolored cloisonne enamel. The kovsh was produced in the Moscow workshop of Nikolai Alekseyev circa 1908-1917. This kovsh measures approximately 3" long, 1.6" wide, and 1.5" tall and is in excellent condition with no apparent loss of enamel. All of the enamel is intact and in excellent condition. Maker's marks are on the bottom and include: the silver quality mark "84" with a right facing kokoshnik and delta symbol for the city of Moscow, and the initials "NA" in Cyrillic for silversmith Nikolai Alekseyev.
