Very Majestic and striking Santa carving featuring Grandfather Frost and the Snowmaiden (snegurochka) with several woodland animals and birds. His cloak is painted all around with a scene of a peaceful starry sky and a Christmas village. On the back of Santa's cloak is the scene of two deer and snow covered cabin in the forest. Carved from European linden wood and hand painted. Signed by the artist Vladimir Shestobansky. This Santa is approximately 13" tall.
