A very large (13.5 inches tall and 8 inches wide), majestic and striking Grandfather Frost with several woodland animals and birds, along with a beautiful accent tree. Rich and stunning details throughout from top to bottom. Blue fur coat with an incredible amount of detail work and shading of leaves, flowers and snowflakes. His coat and regal hat are beautifully detailed filigree in a multitude of colors of gold trimmed leaves upon blue and gold base. The back of Santa's fur trimmed coat is painted in blue with equally impressive and elegant detailing and iridescent gold highlights that come to life with changing light. He holds a gold staff in one hand and a large bag with gifts in the other.
He is a very happy Santa with friendly blue eyes. Extremely well done in every aspect. This Russian Santa is completely hand carved from solid linden wood. Unique, museum quality from head to toe, hand-crafted Santa is a one of a kind work of art signed by the artist Russ Elena.
