The Ulu is a knife that's very handy in the kitchen! The steel is a 440 stainless, made in Alaska! The handle is made using fossilized walrus rib bone with end caps of a varying of materials (i.e. Mammoth Ivory, Oosik, Antler, Dall Sheep, etc.).This knife is great for collectors of unique pieces as well as completely usable in the kitchen. This ulu is truly unique & even comes with a stand made of natural shed Caribou antler.

The Ulu (pronounced oo-loo) knife is a Traditional tool used by Alaskan Natives for centuries. The rounded blade rocks to improve dexterity and leverage, making both fine cuts and chopping tasks simple.
