Product Overview
Kholui is a tempera painting village with traditions rooted in old icon painting schools, which were persecuted during the revolution. Having preserved the ancient ways of painting with fairy-tales, Kholui is one of three tempera workshops still currently functioning.

The lid is hinged from the top of the scene. Stands on four legs. 4"x3.5"x1.25". Signed by artist.
