This wonderful decorative Russian Matryoshka Dolls depict one of the most popular Russian folk tales - "Ivan Tsarevitch and the Grey Wolf". This attractive nesting doll is imported directly from Russia. It's hand-carved from linden wood and hand painted by Russian artist Komilavochnikova. Open it up and it reveals a set of smaller dolls inside. Each one represents scenery from this Russian fairy tale. The artwork is beautiful and modeled after traditional Russian classical art and fairy tale scenes. Glossy lacquer finish. Approx. 8 1/2" tall. Signed by an artist.
