Product Overview
This traditional Kholui box has been painted by the well-known artist Svetlana Baburina. Its subject is based on the Pushkin's fairy-tale "Firebird".
The scene is framed with a nice golden ornament.The box's sides are decorated with rich golden ornament. The box is constructed from paper-mache. Black lacquer is used to paint the exterior of the box while red lacquer completes the interior of the work. The lid is hinged to the top of the composition, and the box rests on flat bottom. The work is signed with the artist's name and the village of Kholui.
