Children participated in Kolyadki, often dressing up in the costume of their favorite animal. On this gorgeous Father Frost, Master Vladimir Shestobansky has depicted one of the oldest Russian traditions which lives to this day. Hand Carved with miniature detail from linden wood, he stands at approx. 13.5"tall
He is a very happy Santa with friendly blue eyes. Extremely well done in every aspect. This Russian Santa is completely hand carved from solid linden. Unique, hand-crafted Santa is a one of a kind work of art.
