This five nest Christmas tree depicts Russian Christmas in Snowman Village with the figure of the Grandfather Frost (Russian Santa), Snowmaiden (his granddaughter), Snowman and a Christmas tree. The largest X-mas tree is approximately 7" tall. Hand carved from solid wood and hand finished in remarkable detail with numerous coats of paint. Signed by the artist. Made in Russia. Very nicely painted with a matte finish. This doll have wood burned details. Hand carved and hand painted in Sergiev Posad, the largest nesting doll center in Russia.
