Alexander Cheburkov lives and works in Pavlovo, an ancient Russian town approximately 500 km east of Moscow known for over 200 years as a center of steel craftsmen: knife-makers, locksmiths, toolmakers and blacksmiths. Alexander creates knives at the highest level, each a unique heirloom quality tool and also a work of art!
Since 2001 he has been offering his works commercially; first in the Russian market, then after displaying and attending knife shows in France, Germany, Italy, Spain and Austria. Last year he attended the Blade show in Atlanta, where his work caused a buzz.
We travel to Russia and buy from him directly. He is known in the Russian knife community as the Russian "William Henry" for his superior designs, smooth actions, and quality of workmanship. It is truly a pleasure to own and use a Cherburkov knife!
