Product Overview
This interesting composition is a creation of Mstera artist Natalia Tikhomirova. The box shows us a bullfinch sitting on a branch of a tree. The box is constructed out of paper-mache. Black lacquer is used to paint the outside and red lacquer is used to paint the inside of the box. The artist uses silver and gold paints to decorate the box with scroll work. A hinge is fastened on the left of the scene, and the box rests on a flat bottom. The work is signed with the artist's name, the title, and the village of Mstera on the box's exterior bottom. Approx size 4"x2.5"x 1.25".
