Baleen Basket by John Hank

This 3.5 inch baleen basket is woven by John Hank, an Inupiaq Native of Alaska. The finial is carved into a walrus's head from walrus ivory, both grey and black baleen is used to create this basket.  John is from Point Hope, Alaska.
