Product Overview
An antique Russian "Half-vase" shaped samovar produced circa beginning of the twentieth century. Maker's marks the front of the samovar's base are for the V.S. Batashev workshop in Tula, Russia. The samovar is of traditional brass construction with decorative facets and wooden handles and knobs. This samovar measures approximately 16" tall (40cm tall and 36cm wide). Wood handles and knobs appear to have been replaced. Left handle has some damage to the wood. The body of the Samovar is in excellent condition, but is missing the ash pan cover on the bottom.
