Product Overview
An antique Russian "Banka" jar-shaped brass samovar. This samovar was produced in the workshop of V.S. Batashev in Tula, Russia circa 1899. The body of the samovar is in excellent condition with some minor mineral deposit in the interior due to use. The samovar measures approximately 51cm (20") high and has a volume of approximately 7 liters. The maker's marks for the V.S. Batashev workshop are on the front edge of the top, on the front of the base, and on the front of the body along with numerous award seals.
