A large (18.5 inches tall), beautifully carved and painted Grandfather Frost. Rich blue and purple base coat with an incredible amount of detail work. The winter scene on the front as well as rich decorated staff are simply stunning. His coat and hat are beautifully detailed in raised filigree in a multitude of colors, gold flowers, leaves and white opalescent accents. The back of Santa's frosted blue, fur trimmed coat is painted in light purple and blue with equally impressive and elegant detailing and iridescent gold highlights that come to life with changing light. He holds a staff in one hand and two little birds in the second.
He is a very happy Santa with friendly blue eyes. Extremely well done in every aspect.
